My shows are fun, full of energy and engaging. I can be the center of attention, or background music depending on the event, and anything in between. I primarily play just with my guitar, however I use background tracks and voicing pedals when needed.
My name is Mike Brown and I am a retired High School History teacher and Basketball coach. I learned how to play guitar as a surprise for my daughter on her wedding day and I have been playing ever since. My first ever gig was at the old Nauti Parrot before hurricane Ian. For the last 4 years from October to May I have had a standing show every Wednesday in the afternoon until sunset at Times Square on Fort Myers Beach.
I am now a permanent resident of Southwest Florida and primarily only work in this region. I still do special engagements in Chicago, Wisconsin, Michigan and South Carolina.
It is nice to have electricity, but not required. I can supply my own power.
