Clay is an incredible professional musician. He arrived early was totally prepared and provided musical entertainment for our party that was better than we could have ever imagined. Beforehand he asked about the music we liked and he played exactly what we liked and even our favorite song that he normally doesn't play. I would recommend Clay to everyone. We hired Clay Bell to play guitar and ukulele at our post wedding party at a local winery. He played lovely instrumental dinner music during dinner and entertained after dinner. Clay was a huge hit. He is professional, a fantastic singer and guitar/ukulele player. He has performed since he was 5 and so he is at ease and engaging on stage. We asked if he would mind if we (bride and groom) played some songs with him on our ukuleles and he said yes. He practiced with us and ensured we looked and sounded good. We hired Clay to play our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We were impressed by Clay’s professionalism and talents leading up to and throughout our Big Day. Clay has a wide range of songs he can play, and he considered our musical interests as he prepared his setlist. On the day of, he kept the occasion light and fun, getting everyone dancing before we sat down to dinner! He also learned an instrumental cover of The Beatles’ “Something,” which my wife and I sincerely appreciated. Overall, Clay is a fantastic guitarist and singer to hire. We hired Clay for our father's 80th birthday party and we could not have been happier with our choice. He created a playlist that was perfect for our location and guests, creating a lovely and festive atmosphere. We had to modify our start time just a day or two before our event and he accommodated us with no problem. Clay was always prompt with responses to our questions and requests. Aside from being very professional he is an all around nice person.

My husband and I were finally celebrating our marriage and had Clay attend our event as a one-man-band. Clay arrived on time with a small sound system and a rolled up vintage carpet- just perfect for our little set up at the Autocamp Russian River in the woods. Throughout the night my guests pulled me aside to tell me how great he was. Clay even stuck around longer and had some lovely chats with my guests. Clay was everything I could have hoped for (and more!). He was incredibly responsive leading up to our event and spent 20 minutes with me on the phone talking through how it would work the next day. His acoustic rendition of "Simply the Best" was exactly what I wanted for my proposal, and he also took the time to rehearse a song that wasn't on his list because he knew my girlfriend was a big Taylor Swift fan. To top it off, her nephew dropped his toy car into a river, and Clay played Baby Shark to calm him down. I would 100% recommend Clay for any event!

Not only is Clay a talented performer, but he's a super nice guy and extremely professional. He played for my '80s themed birthday party, and was a huge hit with our guests. He performed for 2 hours during cocktails as we had agreed, and then went on to DJ some fun '80s music for an additional hour just to be helpful. He even wore a fun '80s suit to keep in the party theme. I can't speak highly enough of him, and I would hire him again without any hesitation.

My husband and I had a small wedding reception so having a band didn't make any sense. I don't know what kind of sorcery Cleagle did, but he made himself sound like a multi-person group. What to Expect
On time, tidy and all material learned. I've developed full sets of instrumental solo guitar, upbeat love songs for cocktail hour, pool party/yacht rock, adult contemporary (Mayer, Mraz, Jack Johnson), current hits.
I am self contained and only need access to power.
About
Born into a musical family I dropped out of kindergarten to go on tour with the family band. By age 16 I was fronting my own band and playing nightclubs and in my early 20's I was a signed artist touring the USA.
When I moved to San Francisco I started playing solo, busking and performing 5-6 hour sets of request as a featured performer at the historic Ghirardelli Square. Between songwriting and playing covers I was thrilled to be a full-time working musician in the Bay Area. Small shows led to bigger shows and now I mostly play weddings, corporate events and private parties. I do volunteer work performing for our troops serving overseas as well as local fire departments and first responders.
I'm equally at home playing a backyard party or for 10,000 people in Vegas.
Additional Booking Notes
Power drop 10 feet from performance area. Stage are should be flat, dry and clean. If it is hot or sunny shade is required, if the temperature is below 60 degrees a heater is required.
