Joy is a classically trained soprano based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Currently, she performs with The Dallas Opera as an outreach and education performing artist. This season, she debut’s the role of Laurette in their touring production of Bizet’s, Doctor Miracle. Joy also teaches at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX as an Adjunct Professor of Voice.
Originally from Loganville, GA, she completed her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance at Mercer University in Macon, GA, and a master’s degree in vocal performance and voice pedagogy from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.
