I provide music for events through the classical guitar. The experience itself is wonderful background music for your special event. I have been playing for over 18 years, and I have performed and taught various styles of guitar for 8 years. I have performed music in both the United States and Spain. The sound from the guitar that I create is something that I have honed and perfected over the years. What makes my service unique? I have dedicated my time to the creation and expression of music, and my desire to share that expression with my clients fuels the entire experience to a higher level. I am excited and grateful for my career and enjoy meeting and working with a variety of people.
Joey played for my wife and I for our anniversary picnic dinner. We had dinner at the UNCC Botanical Gardens in the Asian Garden. I communicated with Joey about where we wanted to set up and the mood that I was going for and he could not have done it more perfectly! The evening went exactly the way I envisioned it! Joey was extremely professional and dressed very nice for the occasion as well. I would definitely recommend him for any event.

What to Expect
I arrive about 30 minutes before the scheduled event time to set up amplification (If needed). I have hours of repertoire to perform, and I keep the music as exciting, relaxing, and emotional as possible during the event. The music itself is music that is idiomatic of the guitar, with beautiful harmonies. I'm very obedient with my clients, and I will adjust any aspect of my services to fit my client's desires.

Influences & Inspiration
I sparked an interest in the nylon-string guitar when I first attended school for music. I spent hours listening to the greats, learning how the music is supposed to sound. To name a few musicians who have inspired me musically: Andres Segovia, Manuel Barrueco, Ana Vidovic, David Russell, Vladimir Horowitz, Yo-yo Ma, Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Ian Watt, and too many more to list.
Just a wall to plug in to, and a chair with no arm rests.
