July 3, 2020Perfect Proposal!
I hired Marita to play for my marriage proposal and it was absolutely amazing. She played perfectly for the venue and came well-prepared. Marita was a pleasure to work with and even let me do a last minute date change. Her price is a steal if you're looking for a cellist go no further! Marita knows how to play!

January 4, 2020Wonderful to work with
Marita played the cello at my wedding in November. She was very easy to work with and even learned a difficult song for my ceremony. I would definitely hire her again!

May 12, 2019Exactly what I needed
I had a large Mother's Day event at an assisted living community. We had residents and their family members and I wanted nice, tasteful background music. I wanted upbeat, fun music not a lot of "classical". She was very professional, knew exactly what I wanted and let me know she would get started on a playlist that would me my needs. It was a wonderful event and everyone enjoyed the music...it really set the tone for the event.

May 5, 2019All-Star
I was looking for a cellist to make my proposal extra special and she came through so clutch! We had to make a last minute scheduling change and she was very accommodating and professional. Everything I could have hoped for and would recommend her to anyone and everyone. All around amazing job, easy to work with, made great suggestions and knows how to play for sure!!

What to expect
I will come prepared with passion and expertise. I have done several different set ups in the past where I am situated away from the crowd, but to where the music fills the room. The cello caters to multiple events including: weddings, funerals, dinner parties, networking events, business functions, and many more. I am open to play for all different types of events.
About
I've been playing cello for almost 20 years. I have experience in the UNT symphony orchestra along with playing at weddings. I started playing cello for my friend's weddings back in college. Recently, I have decided to use this talent to help other couples on their special day. I look forward to working with you so that your musical vision can be brought to reality.
Additional booking notes
The robust sound of the cello carries pretty far. I do not anticipate requiring a mic or sound system to hear the sound.

Influences and inspiration
Through my training, I have had some phenomenal instructors. One of my best teachers, Mr. Sunder always used to impart on me the importance of professionalism. He prided himself in taking gigs seriously and committing himself fully to the experience he would provide his audience. I have learned from this that preparation is always key.
