Came on time and it was a good experience

Clarissa went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% happy with my makeup for my vow renewal ceremony. Even when I felt like I was being difficult during my trial, she reassured me that she would make sure I loved my makeup. And I did!
She reached out after the trial to offer some suggestions and ask additional questions to make sure we were on the same page about the kind of look I wanted. I felt so beautiful, I didn’t feel over-done, or have that feeling of foundation caked on my face. I didn’t even have a need to touch anything up during the day, it all stayed put.
On top of all of that, she is an absolute sweetheart!! I’m so happy I found her through GigSalad!

I hired Clarise for my wedding. She did an amazing job. The makeup and hair she did looked gorgeous and lasted all night. She's a professional. I highly recommend her to anyone. She was so kind and lovely. Thank you for making me beautiful. I felt so special. :)

Clarise is simply the most amazing and competent makeup artist you will find!! I'm so grateful I found her. She's so incredibly professional, sweet, affable, friendly, charming, talented, considerate, affordable - my list of positive traits about her could go on, and on, and on! As a Mother's Day gift my husband booked a photographer friend he knew to do a Mommy + Me Photoshoot with my 7 month old daughter. The only photos I had of myself and her were ones where I had no makeup on, and I was wearing sweatpants and a messy bun. I really wanted the photos to come out nice, but I'm terrible at doing my own makeup so I wanted to find a professional to do it for me. I was having the toughest time finding somebody - either they were too expensive, not experienced enough, or lived in NYC and wasn't willing to travel. But, then I found Clarise! She was so pleasant and incredibly sweet in her messages, I felt like I had known her for a long time. She came straight to my house on time and got to work right away. I only showed her a few images of what I was going for and she got it immediately. It was so comforting to have someone so confident and self-assured doing that kind of work for you. She really took her time and made me feel like I was the only client of hers that mattered that day. She even stayed later (mostly because we were chatting so much) to make sure I was happy with what she did and if I needed anything else or wanted any adjustments. At the end, she gave me a cute goody bag with instructions on how to re-use my fake lashes with a handwritten note - it was such a sweet and heartwarming touch! My makeup stayed on for the entire shoot, and it looked so beautiful and flawless. I absolutely loved her and would recommend her to ANYONE!!!
