When you book us to work your event, you get a set-up that instantly elevates the room. We utilize our signature custom mobile bar, which is sleek, modern, and styled to match your event's exact aesthetic. On the bar top, we keep things highly organized - no sticky plastic pourers, messy cardboard boxes, or cheap plastic tubs. Behind the bar, the energy is fast-paced, welcoming, and fun. We focus on making great drinks quickly without sacrificing the craft, keeping the line moving while making sure every guest has a great interaction.

The best part about booking us is that you get a completely taken care of bar experience. We’ll work with you to design a menu around the drinks you actually love, using real ingredients and juices rather than sugary, store-bought mixers. On the day of the event, we handle all the heavy lifting, setup, service, and a thorough cleanup at the end of the night. Because we are fully insured and certified, you don’t have to stress about the logistics or venue requirements - you can just grab a drink and actually enjoy your own party.

Hi! I’m Jakob, the owner and lead bartender behind Civic Spirits Co.

My journey behind the bar started years ago as a bartender right here in Arizona. Over the years, I fell in love with the fast-paced energy, the chemistry of crafting a perfect drink, and, most importantly, the way a great drink brings people together. To me, bartending isn’t just a job; it’s an art form and a passion. There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of watching the work you do bring people together.

My background is a mix of high-energy hospitality, entrepreneurship in the spirits industry, and high-level project management. Running a successful event requires intense organization, clear communication, and a calm-under-pressure attitude. I’ve spent years honing those exact skills, meaning I don't just know how to mix a great drink, I know how to manage the logistics of a bustling event flawlessly.

Whether we are customizing a menu with fresh juices and artisanal syrups, or rolling out our signature custom bar, we handle everything from logistics to cleanup. I'd love to help you set up your next event to give you and your guests an amazing experience!

To ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of your event, we have a few basic space and technical setup requirements. We will need a flat, level area for the mobile bar, our prep station, and enough room for our bartenders to work safely. We also need about 1 to 1.5 hours before your event starts to load in and prep, and about an hour after the event ends to pack up and clean.

We don't require heavy electrical setups, but we do need access to a standard 120V outlet within 50 feet of the bar to run our menu lights and basic equipment. For outdoor events, we need to be on a solid, paved, or hard-packed surface rather than soft sand or uneven gravel. Lastly, while we bring our own ice and coolers to keep the ice cold, we just need access to a clean water source on-site for basic handwashing and tool rinsing.
