December 15, 2025Slow response for providing certificate of insurance and assigning artists to our event. One artist got sick last minute but they were able to provide a replacement.

Clarification regarding event services
I personally paid $140 out of pocket to ensure that logo-printed paper was available for the artist to use at your event. The paper was printed and shipped with next-day delivery to meet the timeline.
Unfortunately, one of the artists had to call out due to flu symptoms the afternoon prior to the event. As the event took place on December 12—one of the most in-demand dates of the year—this created additional challenges during an already extremely busy season.
I made every effort to request the certificate of insurance (COI) for the event. I received a high volume of messages from you across text, email, and GigSalad requesting the COI, which made the situation more overwhelming than necessary. Because there is no direct contact between the client and the artist during caricature drawings, it is highly unusual to require a COI for caricaturists. That said, we were happy to provide one at no additional cost to you.
I’m sorry that you were unsatisfied with my ability to respond to every request during the height of the holiday season. Given the circumstances, I’m not sure anyone could have handled it more effectively. I did, however, ensure that talented and professional artists were provided for your event.
Sincerely,
Mezzanine B

September 24, 2023Giving 4 stars because this was a last minute booking and I was happy we were able to secure someone in a 48hr turn-around time.
However, would have liked more energy from our twister. I think he may have been more suited for a corporate event versus a child party 🥳 but all in all OK. Like a said, last minute booking and match. Communication was good pre-event and during. Did arrive a few minutes late so I'd suggest buffering start time.
