Circle City Fire

A Circle City Fire (CCF) performance will bring anywhere from 2-10 performers among our arsenal of fire practitioners, the specific number determined by the needs of the event. Often, a Circle City Fire presentation provides a dazzling piece of entertainment, either as a centerpiece in a coordinated presentation or for an extended provision of ambient entertainment. CCF performers have experience performing in conventions, private corporate events, festival showcases, birthday parties, and weddings.

Circle City Fire is a collective of movement artists with uniquely skilled experience in harnessing the power of fire into a creative expression. A CCF performance carries the tone of interactive excitement, contained volatility, and visceral spectacle, all delivered with a light-hearted sense of humor and assured control of the flame. Just as fire never takes the same form twice, an audience to CCF never gets the same show twice, always being a unique part of the fire as much as the performers themselves.
Circle City Fire performers are skilled in several fire props such as hooping, poi, staff, fire eating, and several more.

Due to the volatile nature of fire, an open, outdoor, or extremely well-ventilated space is required for fire performance. CCF requires a distinct performance space for the safety of event attendees, demarked by some boundary, often things like rope, LED strips, caution tape, or a raised platform/stage. The amount of space provided will determine how many performers can spin fire at one time. CCF also requires a space for the fuel to be stored that is directly accessible to the performance space but also separated from spaces accessible by attendees for the safety of the event. This can just be a table, at least 20 feet from the performance space, to separate fuel from the space in which fire is burning. CCF performers are professionals with hundreds of hours of experience refining our understanding of fire and fire safety. We will provide fire safety blankets. The provision of a designated safety technician comes with the booking of Circle City Fire.
