Chronfused Improv and Perfomance Art

Live Looping:
Will arrive 30-60min before performance time (earlier upon request/sound check when possible)
Provide own gear*
Can perform 5-60 min set of (mostly) interactive music
Can provide basic DJ services upon request for an additional 60-180 min
Can be done virtually through streaming links

Roving Interactive Performance Art:
Interacting with small groups of guests at a party (1-8 at a time) and using tropes of street magic and fortune telling dressed as either a fairy or wizard, break the ice through gift giving and improv. For example, I walk up to a group of 3 and each of them picks a card. They get a jack king and ace respectively and as such get told a joke, get to pick a prize and have their "name replACEd" respectively.
Can be for 60-240min at a time, can be made child friendly and additionally games/activities can be added at 10$ a guest

Chronfused (Julie B.) is a melodic vocal looper, poet, and improv artist who may actually just be a puff of smoke vaguely shaped like a lady. Having spent her youth involved with the arts in her hometown of Yellowknife she has been performing professionally for over 15 years. Her love of poetry, and audience collaboration has given her performance a style that captivates and inspires. This dedication to whimsy has taken Chronfused from private events, to cabarets and festivals around western Canada, most notably “Astral Harvest Festival” “Hulaween FL” “Vancouver Pride” and “td Vancouver Coastal Jazz Fest”. Recently she has begun to host a musical improv show at citr called "MUSE-ish" and has joined forces with 'The Artemis Musicians Society' as their poet. Still no matter if it's serious or silly a Chronfused experience is always as strange as it is stirring.
