December 12, 2022Christian is a FANTASTIC entertainer and a consummate professional. He had a gig before ours, and sent regular updates via text message whenever his ETA changed. He arrived on time and show-ready. Our event was at a beer garden, and he performed multiple sets in various areas of the space (indoor and outdoor) with LED instruments. He was a HUGE hit! Would absolutely recommend, and will absolutely be booking him again for future events!

There a few main types of juggling and circus entertainment. Consider these options:
AMBIENT
Ambient juggling builds an ambiance for your event as I move throughout your event space to entertain guests. I can also be stationed in certain areas (i.e. entryway) for long periods of time. This option provides casual entertainment that prioritizes small-scale guest interactions. Ambient LED juggling is especially good for eye-catching entertainment at night-time events.
STAGE/SPOTLIGHT PERFORMANCE
I can perform a short (5- to 7-minute) stage act to music. Options include club juggling, ball bouncing, ring juggling, LED juggling and diabolo. A ‘spotlight’ act refers to any performance that commands your guests’ full attention, much like an act in a circus ring. It is usually optimal to book at least 2 or 3 spotlight performances in an evening.
WORKSHOPS/SCHOOL PROGRAMS/TEAM BUILDING
Juggling is an excellent way to build camaraderie among classmates, coworkers and teams of any kind. If you are interested in bringing educational circus programs to your school or business, consider the size or your group, what length of time you are looking to fill and how physically demanding you would like the activity to be.
Christian Kloc is a juggler, circus educator and writer. Christian learned to juggle as a child, and decided to make it a career at 29, after years of working as a professional chef. Juggling has enabled Christian to perform at the Kennedy Center, produce a show at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, and appear with the Gandini Juggling ensemble in 'Akhnaten' at the Metropolitan Opera. In 2017, Christian co-founded The Circus District, an online community resource for circus folks in the D.C. region. He is currently focused on creating accessible circus education for youth through Circus Squared.
For ambient juggling entertainment:
-Ceilings of at least 10 feet or an outdoor space.
-Outdoors, temperature of at least 30 degrees F.
-Breaks every 45 minutes (15 minutes minimum).
For spotlight juggling performances:
-Stage or dedicated performance space of at least 15' x 15'.
-Adequate lighting from floor to ceiling (fancy stage lighting not necessary, but a nice bonus!).
-Audio hook-up for iPhone and someone to review basic sound cues prior to event.
