I write and record my own music and play my originals live. I generally don't do covers or requests. My songs consist of Christian music and themes as well as just songs about personal relationships, oftentimes romantic. I was homeless for a while so I also play songs about that experience to raise awareness. If you are looking for original music, that is real and sometimes heavy, but always family friendly, then you might be interested in mine. My style is folk,indie,gospel,folk-rock,praise and worship.

He generously donated his time and talent to support our local fundraiser benefiting music education in our Title I elementary schools, helping ensure more students have access to the life-changing opportunities that music provides.
Chris is much more than a talented musician. He is someone who is consistently out in the Grand Forks community using his gifts to lift others up and support organizations making a difference. He shows up, gives his best, and genuinely cares about the people and causes he serves.
He is reliable, professional, relatable, and an absolute joy to work with. His performances create an amazing atmosphere, but it's his character and commitment to giving back that truly set him apart. There aren't many people who use their talents so selflessly to strengthen their community.
Grand Forks is lucky to have someone like Chris Battle. I generally only perform music that I create. I play Guitar and I (link hidden) voice is pretty raspy in a good way.I like to tell short stories of what inspired my songs and the play or vice versa.
I have always loved to sing. After being homeless life and music seem to have taken on a whole new meaning. I like to raise awareness through my music and social media about people in (link hidden) share that God rescued me through many kind people; that He cares about everyone.
My music is also inspired by my relationship often the heartbreaking ones.
I prefer good lighting and a sound technician to handle the mixing especially when it is not my personal equipment.
