Technical & Staging Requirements

A high-quality, clear sound system is essential to ensure the nuances of the performance are captured.
* Microphone: One (1) vocal microphone (e.g., Shure SM58 or equivalent) with a standard boom stand.
* Direct Input (DI): One (1) direct input box for my acoustic guitar. I use a standard 1/4-inch jack.
* Mixer & PA System: A functional mixer with at least two (2) free channels (one for mic, one for DI) and a PA system capable of providing clear sound for the venue size.
* Monitor: One (1) stage monitor is highly preferred to hear my vocals and guitar clearly.
Lighting:
The lighting should support an intimate and focused atmosphere.
* General Lighting: Sufficient ambient light for the audience to see me clearly.
* Spotlight/Focus: A single, soft spotlight or focused light on the performance area is ideal to create a focal point.
* Mood: The overall lighting should be warm and inviting, avoiding harsh or bright colors that distract from the performance. No strobes or rapid flashing lights, please.
Staging:
* Performance Area: A small, clean, and clear space is needed for a single performer seated on a stool or standing with a mic stand.
* Stage Plot:
* One (1) stool or chair.
* One (1) microphone on a boom stand.
* One (1) music stand (optional, if needed for setlist).
* Space for my acoustic guitar and a small floor tuner.
* Accessibility: The performance area should be free of foot traffic and distractions. The audience should be seated and focused on the stage.
Logistical & Hospitality
* Load-In/Set-Up: Please allow at least 30-45 minutes for soundcheck and setup before the performance begins.
* Parking: A dedicated parking space close to the venue's entrance is greatly appreciated for ease of unloading equipment.
* Water: One (1) bottle of room-temperature water should be provided in the performance area.
* Green Room/Holding Area: A quiet, private space to tune up and prepare before the performance is a plus, but not required for all venues.
