🕒 Phase 1: Setup & Soundcheck (1–2 Hours Before Start)

The DJ will arrive early to transform the designated open area into a fully operational entertainment booth.
• Loading & Placement: Equipment cases will be wheeled into the space, and the DJ booth table, controllers, and laptop will be positioned.
• Audio & Lighting Rigging: Speakers and subwoofers will be mounted on tripods, and lighting rigs will be erected. All power and XLR cables will be run to the designated circuits and safely taped down with gaff tape to eliminate tripping hazards.
• Soundcheck: The DJ will play brief test tracks to adjust the EQ and volume levels specifically to the venue's acoustics, ensuring the bass bumps perfectly without distortion.

🎵 Phase 2: Live Performance (The 3-Hour Booking Window)
Once the event kicks off, the DJ manages the energy of the room from start to finish.
• Vibe Curation: The performance transitions from ambient background music during arrivals/dining to high-energy, memorable tracks that fill the dance floor.
• Crowd Reading: The DJ continuously monitors the crowd's response, seamlessly mixing tracks and adjusting the genre or tempo to maintain a packed dance floor and high energy.
• Equipment Monitoring: The DJ will actively manage sound levels to ensure the music stays loud enough for the dance floor but remains clear and distortion-free.

📦 Phase 3: Teardown & Load-out (45–60 Minutes Post-Event)
As soon as the final song concludes, the pack-up process begins immediately.
• Power Down: Amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers are powered down and unplugged first.
• Packing Gear: High-end controllers, laptops, and lighting fixtures are securely packed into heavy-duty flight cases.
• Site Clearance: Cables are rolled up, gaff tape is removed from the venue floors, and the space is completely restored to its original condition.

⚡ Power Supply Requirements
DJ equipment requires stable, grounded electrical circuits to prevent power failures or damage to expensive audio gear.
The Essentials: The setup typically requires one dedicated 20-amp circuit or two separate 15-amp circuits.
Extension Cords: If the power source is at a distance, heavy-duty commercial extension cords are required (e.g., 14-gauge for up to 50 feet, or 12-gauge for up to 75 feet). Residential extension cords are a safety hazard and should not be used. (We will provide)
📐 Booth & Speaker Space Layout
The booth must be positioned strategically to maximize sound quality without disrupting guests.
Clearance: booth area must remain completely clear of guest tables, chairs, or decorative obstructions.
Dance Floor Proximity: The booth should ideally be centered over or placed directly next to the dance floor so the sound hits the crowd where they are dancing.
Speaker Placement: Main speakers will be placed on tripods on either side of the booth. Long audio cables (XLR) will be run from the booth to the speakers, and these must be secured flat to the floor using gaff tape to prevent tripping hazards.
