Hi There, the pronunciation of my name is a bit tricky, so to make things easier for you I’ve abbreviated (mar-she-cka). I’m a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and most importantly a lover of love, beautiful people and happy moments!
After planning my wedding, I knew that event planning, especially weddings would be something that I could perfect. 11 years ago when I got married, I had no idea that I wanted to be an event planner. In fact, 1 year prior to getting married, I completed my Bachelors Degree from Eastern Michigan University with a Concentration in Communications and a minor in Telecommunications. My plans were to be a News Anchor, or so I thought.
Well, My Friends, God work in mysterious ways, I don’t think that I would have found my passion if I hadn’t found true love first. I completely fell in love with the wedding plans and all the details around my wedding leading up to the wedding day. My then fiance was on a 12 month tour serving in the Iraq War. He arrived back in the United States literally two weeks before we got married. I flawlessly planned every detail of our wedding, including the tuxedos for the groom and the groomsmen. The groom just showed up and said, I do!
I truly, truly enjoy every aspect of planning events from the coordination to the decor. I take ownership of everything to make sure your day is as perfect as can be.
