Chillula party band

Depending on the party, we will play and act appropriate. If it's a formal dinner type party we can bring the guitar, keyboard, and sax player out and play mellow music for example. We almost always wear collar shirts and ties. We bring our own lights if needed. And play music on the ipod during breaks if needed. Everything you would expect a band to do and have, we do.

Chillula is a 8 piece band consisting of guitar, bass, drums, sax, trumpet, 2 keyboards, and a DJ based in St Augustine,FL. Chillula blends the styles of R&B, Funk, Hip- Hop, Soul, Rock, & Jazz into a sound that everyone can groove to and is sure to fill the dance floor. The compliment that we receive most is how much people enjoy our fresh twist on songs. Although a local band, members are not lacking in experience having opened for acts like Jason Mraz, Collective Soul, & Toots & The Maytals etc. and have toured both regionally and nationally. Chillula is able to play any size venue from small coffee shops and intimate weddings to large festival stages and members pride themselves on being able to adapt to any musical situation required. While mostly playing in bars, Chillula's professional demeanor also makes them an ideal choice for more formal events such as weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
