ChileJam is about fun!
And to deliver fun, I believe that one of the best services a photographer can provide is capturing exceptional moments without being in the way. Make people feel comfortable. Wait. Laugh. Wait some more. Click!
A photographer should be a part of the party, but not be in the way of the party.
People should leave the event and say, "Wow, that guy was great. I can't wait to get the pictures!"
All of the other technical stuff is a given; uploads from the event, prints, ipad reviews, etc. Eh, piece of cake.

I always deliver edited, retouched photos that show the best of your event. I can deliver while at an event and can even post directly to Facebook, Twitter, and other social platforms. I have found that basic email is still preferred by most people. Why? Because nobody ever remembers their Facebook or Twitter password.
I know I need a Hacker to find mine again!
Let me know what you want and I'll either tell you that I can deliver that or I'll tell you I can't and hand you over to someone that I trust.
You can expect me to help "bring the party". I love to shoot events because I get to meet new people and learn from them. I get to go with you to places that I've never been.
But please know..
Event Photography is NOT about just snapping pictures. It is NOT about getting people to pose and smile at the camera. Event Photography is the art of capturing moments without being in the way.
I believe that a good event photographer will be accepted "as if they were an invited guest" even though nobody has met them before. A good event photographer can make people comfortable by being there, but not being there at the same time. By capturing the moments that everyone knows happened, but nobody else saw.
After the years of events that I've shot, I watch to see what happens, get ready before it does, and shot to capture,.
That is all.
I don't believe that Event Photography is about "technical" stuff. It's about capturing moments. If you miss a moment then who cares about the technical.
I used to run a Karaoke Show in Chicago.
I would always start the show by singing a single song. I didn't sing because I wanted to show off of just be on stage. I sang because at the end of the song I wanted people to clap. I wanted to get everyone accustomed to clapping at EVERY song. I would say, "Where's the love?" and people would clap. I'd say it again. People clapped louder. And a 3rd time. People were on their feet.
THEN I invited the first guest to sing and everyone clapped for them; before, during, and AFTER the performance. Everyone greeted everyone at the door. We were all friends. My Karaoke Cult was "Never about the singing. It's all about the Love."
Not Applicable. I bring everything except the audience.
