You can expect Cherished Music to be professional and courteous from initial quote inquiry, to exiting the event venue after performing.

Arriving early for an event is not only expected, but very important to establishing the right vibe for an evening dinner reception or festive gala. If an arrival/start time is not specified, Cherished Music will be ready to perform fifteen minutes before an event begins to set the mood for the room.

Often services requested of Cherished Music are to provide pleasant background piano music for the client's guests. Cherished Music consistently supplies remarkable music while making a point not to be overbearing or intrusive for those listening.

When performing for more than a few hours in a sitting, a quick three to five minute break may be taken to rest the fingers.

When the designated end time has been reached, Cherished Music will pack up and exit as conveniently and discreetly as possible.

I began playing piano at the age of four and quickly fell in love with the instrument. By eight I began lessons. In high school I published my first CD which had a favorable response and led me to earn a career in piano and composition. I decided to become a proud panther and attended the University of Northern Iowa where I earned a degree in Bachelors of Arts in General Music Studies with an emphasis in Music Composition and Theory.

I currently reside in Des Moines with my beautiful wife. We are pursuing music careers individually and collectively. Being a man of many hats, some of my dreams are to create music for video games, film and main stream music. I would also like to compose for school bands/orchestras. Most importantly I desire to provide quality entertainment to those who seek it.

If Cherished Music is supplying equipment for your event, a working power outlet is all that is required. If your venue has a piano then it would be beneficial for both parties to double check that the piano is in tune and will not be locked during the event.
