About

Chef Matt graduated from the Academy of Culinary Arts in 2010 and quickly rose to Executive Chef by the age of 22, leading kitchens throughout South Jersey. After stepping away from the culinary industry for a time, he was diagnosed with Celiac disease — a moment that reignited his passion for food and reshaped his purpose in the kitchen.
That turning point led to the creation of Chef Matt’s Culinary Creations — a company built on the belief that food should nourish, heal, and bring people together.
Known for his relentless work ethic, creativity, and empathy, Chef Matt is guided by the philosophy “let food be thy medicine.” Every detail is intentional, every ingredient chosen with care, and every allergy or dietary need respected.
We believe the table should be a safe, welcoming place for everyone. Our bespoke culinary experiences are more than just meals — they’re personal, meaningful, and deeply rooted in the belief that food can be transformative.

⚙️ Technical & Booking Requirements
🗓️ Booking & Deposit

50% Deposit Required to secure your date.

Deposit confirms the reservation and blocks the event on our calendar.

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of service.

Dates are not held without deposit — availability is first come, first served.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future rescheduled date if notice is given (typically 7+ days prior, unless otherwise agreed).

🛒 Groceries & Ingredients

All groceries are purchased fresh by our team for your event or meal prep.

Grocery costs are reimbursed after service, once actual receipts are provided.

You’ll receive a clear itemized breakdown for transparency.

No sales tax is charged on the service itself because groceries are treated as the client’s personal property and reimbursed separately.

💳 Payment Terms

Accepted payment methods: credit/debit, ACH, or business check payable to “Chef Matt’s Culinary Creations LLC.”

Full payment for the service is due immediately upon completion (unless alternate terms are arranged in writing).

Gratuity is never required but always appreciated for exceptional service.

👨‍🍳 Staffing & Delegation

All events are staffed by Chef Matt or a certified, insured chef personally selected and trained by him.

Each chef follows Chef Matt’s systems, recipes, and service protocols to ensure consistent quality across all bookings.

🏠 On-Site Requirements

Access to a clean kitchen space, functioning oven/stove, and running water is required.

Adequate counter space and refrigeration for prep and plating must be available.

For events over 12 guests, access to a dining or staging area is recommended.

Our team provides smallwares as needed (knives, trays, utensils, etc.), but specialty serving ware should be discussed prior to the event.

🚫 Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations less than 7 days before the event may forfeit the deposit.

In rare circumstances (illness, emergency, severe weather), Chef Matt’s Culinary Creations reserves the right to substitute a qualified chef or reschedule the event.
