Exacting manipulations, 7 hoops spinning on all of her limbs, Meghan is a hula hooper, fire dancer and aerialist who's been performing in Baltimore, DC, Philadelphia, Virginia and NY for the past four years.
She has been practicing the art of hoop dance since 2008 and incorporates her experience in ballet, gymnastics and yoga to create a unique, precise style of hooping that must be witnessed. From fire performances with multiple fire hoops and fans, to dangling in the sky from an aerial hoop, Meghan brings her sense of form, rhythm, and expression to every apparatus.
This review is particularly belated (our event was January 2016 and I'm posting this April 2018, so...only a couple years late!), but the ladies were so wonderful and did such a fabulous job that it's literally been on my mind to leave a review since then:
I hired Charm Performance (2 aerialists [1 fabric performer and 1 hoop performer], 1 stilt walker/hula hooper and 1 contortionist) as the headlining entertainment at a corporate holiday party in Washington, DC. They were, by far, the most dynamic act I've had at an event to date! I worked with Meg, the owner, from the very beginning. She was very responsive and went out of her way to provide additional assistance and referrals for a decor company. In addition to herself, the 3 other women she assembled to perform were all extremely professional, arrived early to set up all the rigs and equipment needed for their performance and still had time to do a run through in the space before the start of the event. I had a very specific theme for the event and Meg worked with me to coordinate their costumes for the event and we were even able to sync our lighting to their act. They interacted with guests, didn't mind taking pictures with anyone and really worked the space. I would definitely recommend them Charm Performance for future events!
Charm Performance's fire dancing at my art opening reception was truly awe-inspiring! Her grace, beauty, talent and femininity was outstanding! She interacted with my guests between sets with poise and congeniality. Thanks to Charm Performance, it was one of the most fun, most interesting, most rewarding experiences I have ever had! I am so very thankful for Charm Performance!
Meg (hooper) and Kinikia (belly dancer) were fantastic! They brought the perfect balance of showmanship and lively entertainment to our Cirque Du Soleil-themed fashion event. We received rave reviews from everyone in the crowd. In addition to being talented, they were also both very sweet, professional and accommodating. It was a relief to not have to worry about their performances and crowd interaction. Highly recommend Charm Performance for your next event!
We had Charm Performance at my 30th Birthday Bash in June. They were extremely friendly, fun, and were willing to work with us on whatever we needed. They even came up with their own ideas to make the party even better, creating their own Court Jester characters and wearing costumes to match. They wowed us all with never before seen stunts and tricks! They were so wonderful we are planning to have them at my next birthday party! Highly recommend!

Meghan Fulton has been a hooper, fire dancer and aerialist in the Baltimore, DC and Philly area since 2010. She has hooped at large events like Starscape, Baltimores "Best of Baltimore Party", City Papers "Cosmic Cocktail Party", DC Zoos "Night of the Living Zoo", Charm City Music Festival and several yearly Power Plant Live events. She started hooping in 2008 and has surrounded herself with hooping since, performing with several Cirque troupes on the east coast.
Fire hooping seemed like a natural step into fire dance where she's been performing with 3 fire hoops as well as singular fire hoop. While learning fire dance she was exposed to fire fans and immediately was was drawn to the mix of dance and technical spinning. Performing for the first time with fire fans at "Charm City Music Festival", they are now a regular part of her performing repertoire.
Her most recent circus endeavor has been aerial hoop where she contorts and positions herself in every part of the hoop. A 20 foot free standing, adjustable aerial rig means she can set up virtually anywhere.
On the side, she is also a master seamstress and is able to create any costume for themed events.
Additional Booking Notes
Fire performances must be cleared with the venue, any use of the aerial rigging from the actual venue will require the performer to be onsite to do the rigging.
