What to expect

Of course, I can do all the sweet covers you need! Top 40, Oldies, Country, and AC are all part of my repertoire. However, my best skill is making up whole custom original songs on the SPOT! Great for parties, songs tailored for your guests.

About

Like a blanket of stars over the mysterious high desert, LA-based singer-songwriter Charlsey Miller’s unique soulful voice carries distinctly relatable lyrics into a mystical and moving musical world. Charlsey grew up on the radio in Kansas City, where country and blues taught her how to sing her feelings, but it wasn’t until she moved to California that she found the sound she was looking for. Drawing inspiration from the greats like Dolly Parton, Marcus King, and Brandi Carlile, Miller’s “International Americana” has elements of broken-hearted blues, old-school country, and joyful gospel celebrations. Whether based in real life or in a magical moment, every one of her hand-crafted original songs is its own homage to the tradition of folk singers and storytellers, sure to elicit emotions you may have even forgotten you had. You can hear some of her songs in the feature film Golden Arm, now streaming on HBOMax; and her newest full-length album, One Man Woman, is out now! It has been a long labor of love from herself, Swedish-based guitarist Martin Carlsson, and Nashville producer Kazuri Arai at Blackbird Studios.
