About

Many women reach midlife asking a powerful question: What’s next? At the same time, many are stepping into another life-changing role—caring for aging parents.

Cenita Johnson-Jackson has personally navigated both of these profound “aging rites of passage.” After leaving a long career in the entertainment industry, she relocated across the country as her father’s health began to decline and ultimately reinvented her career and life.

When the pandemic struck, Cenita became the full-time caregiver for her father, who was living with Alzheimer’s, while simultaneously managing two part-time remote jobs. During this pivotal chapter, she launched Aging With Purpose, which has grown into a lifestyle show and media brand serving women 40+ with conversations around reinvention, wellness, career, finances, caregiving, relationships, and living with greater purpose.

Now in her late 50s, Cenita brings lived experience, practical strategies, and a relatable perspective to conversations about reinvention after 40, purposeful aging, and family caregiver well-being and burnout prevention. Her message reminds audiences that growing older does not mean becoming less relevant—it can be an opportunity to realign, reinvent, and intentionally shape what comes next.
