Look no further for your bagpipe music for your event:

I cannot express in words (but will try!) how thankful I am for Brock and Toni! They helped me plan the perfect surprise for my husband for our wedding in Key West. It was absolutely perfect: the sun was setting over the water and just as we were announced as husband and wife, Brock and Toni processed down the beach towards us, playing 'Highlander Cathedral'. That moment will forever be etched in my memory. Toni was so easy to talk to and plan this surprise with, down to the detail with myself and the wedding planner. Both Toni and Brock felt like long-time friends that we were able to catch up with. Brock is a SUPERB piper and his beautiful music was enjoyed by all. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's Scottish heritage. And the Scots in the family especially enjoyed 'Scotland Forever' as a send-off! I HIGHLY, highly recommend this wonderful team! (Thank you again, Brock and Toni!!!)

I was planning a surprise 70th Birthday Party for my husband Mike.
From California we were to fly to Florida to
go on a celebratory Cruise.
My husband had no idea that I was attempting to organize a birthday party from afar. I reached out to Celtic Bagpipe team via the Internet. My theme was based on a ‘bucket list gift’ which included a golf trip to ‘St. Andrews, Scotland’..... pesention being vitally important, I visualized a bagpiper to enter the restaurant (Surprise) as the gift was presented.
To make a long story short, this was arranged & flawlessly performed.
The Bagpiper’s wife Toni responded immediately to my request. On a heartfelt level, she & I communicated for a couple of weeks, fine tuning the details, venue, presentation etc. on January 4th, the entire vision came to fruition. Brock ( the bagpiper) surprised my husband with a heartfelt, powerful bagpipe seranade, while he his wife Toni accompanied him ( both in traditional costume) with a bright smile & a big heart, carrying the basket of St Andrews paraphernalia that I had collected & sent ahead.
The day was filled with delight & surpised my husband beyond my wildest dreams. All the birthday guests were thrilled to be a part of the musical surprise.
Thank you Toni & Brock for making this day fabulous & unforgettable.

"Top Shelf Team and a Perfect Touch"

The Celtic Bagpipe Team provided the perfect touch for my Dad's funeral mass on the morning of St. Patrick's Day. While the bagpipe music was beautifully moving, we were also elated to have met such a wonderful couple as Brock and Toni. I communicated with Toni several times before the event regarding logistics and song choices and was left with complete peace of mind that all would go as smoothly as it did. Speaking on behalf of my entire family, we were truly blessed to have connected with Brock and Toni and will be forever grateful to the Celtic Bagpipe team for helping us to celebrate the life and times of my very Irish Dad!

Additional booking notes

Any reputable piper will need at least 20 min prior to the event to correctly tune the instrument (more time is always better). The Great Highland Bagpipe consists of a total of 4 reeds (3 in the drones and 1 in the chanter) that must all be tuned to the specific environment in which they are to be played. This being said, if at all possible, the tuning area should be in the environment in which they are to played as temperature, humidity and even sunlight vs shade can have an effect on tuning.
Also understand that this is a wind instrument that takes a great deal of stamina to play properly. Any reputable piper who plays on a regular basis should have no problem playing for upwards of 20+ minutes, however this 20 minutes is not continuous. Typically a piper will play "sets" consisting of 3 - 4 tunes or perhaps a longer tune such as a piobaireachd . So, if you would like pipe music while guests are being seated or for a longer duration, please understand that there will be short (1-2 minutes) breaks in between sets. Just wanted to give you a heads up-

Should I Salute and if So, When Do I Salute?
If you’re not in the military and are not a veteran of the military, there is no rule that you should salute during a military funeral. Instead of saluting, it’s common to place your hat or your hand over your heart during times when a salute is appropriate.

However, if you do wish to salute, follow the others attending the funeral who are in civilian clothing. As a citizen, if you salute during the wrong time, it’s considered a breach of etiquette. Either don’t salute or follow the guide of other civilians.

If you’re in the military then you’ll salute during the following occasions:

When the hearse passes in front of you
At any time while the casket is being moved including when it is being lowered into the ground
During the gun salute
While Taps is being played

Influences and inspiration

Many fine Pipers have come across our paths and will continue to do so, some local and many from the UK area and right from Scotland-
Recently, a group called Hunting McLeod that was a big influence for both Brock and I. The South Florida Pipe and Drum Academy with instructors have been a great influence. Pipe and Drum Bands along with Scottish Festivals have been encouraging along the way. Behind that is what really influences us and that is this - that the Bagpipes are played from your heart ❤️ and behind your heart is your soul and that's where we play from in hopes to influence others!
