About
I am a cellist who graduated from Elementary and High School levels of Arts with a specialization in the cello instrument, from the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba. I began my studies at the age of 7 with a specialty in cello at the Ñola Sahig Sainz Elementary School of Art. Where I was taught classes such as piano, solfeggio, music appreciation, music theory, choir and my specialty, cello. There I studied for 7 years until I graduated from Elementary Level. Upon completing these studies, I took the tests to move on to the advanced level, where I passed with satisfactory results and was admitted to the National School of Art. There I began my advanced level, which lasted 4 years. While studying at this level, I worked with a Cuban music orchestra called Camerata del Son playing my cello. After graduating from high school, I began working in a luthier workshop in Havana, restoring bows for stringed instruments like the violin and cello. I stayed there for only three months, as I was then chosen to teach my instrument at the school where I trained. I spent two years there, training new students in the arts, especially the cello.
