It's hard to say what to expect from a gig, as we pride ourselves in being chameleons and adapting to our environment. Depending on the vibe you want for your event, we can put on a few very different types of shows: We can play all cover songs, all original songs (those are featured in our reel video), or a mix of both. We can play mellow songs that blend into the background, or play a set of energetic hits that will keep the crowd's attention. What you get is really up to you - you ask for a certain kind of set, and we give it to ya.
In the summer of 2017 on the streets of Hoboken, Vocalist Cecelia Ticktin was out walking her dog Jasper, Saxophone Player Chris Range was on the street playing for a cute waitress, and Guitarist Chris Pattwell was moving into his apartment. The three strangers bumped into each other, spent the afternoon jamming outside of Spesh Barbershop, and a band was born.
Chris Range later went on to play for Prohibition in New York City, lending his improv skills and jazz background to their house band. Together Chris Pattwell and Cecelia Ticktin continued to write, curating an alternative acoustic set list that draws on influences of folk, country, and indie rock.
In August of 2018, after the duo played a sold out show at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, Cecelia left Hoboken to tour the country with the Broadway Musical WICKED for 13 months, standing by for the role of Elphaba. Now back together in Hoboken, Cecelia and Chris have picked up where they left off; playing their music for the tri-state area.
With a playlist packed with originals and covers that span from mellow brunch sounds to highly energetic songs that make you want to sing along, Cecelia and Chris are a duo that can fit any venue's needs.
