I will offer you a special discount to perform for your Event that will include a complete sound system, 9 piece Band , amps, horns, microphones, a variety of music that will include Latin Jazz, Salsa, Cumbia, Soft Rock, Old School, R & B, and Top 40 for your Event or party with Family & Friends. Please Call me if you would like to hire the group so that I may notify all personnel for your event.

If we are hired I will offer you a contract with specific details for your event.

The Cauldron Band

The Cauldron Band is an experienced Top 40, R & B, Old School, Funk, Cumbia, Latin Jazz Dance group that has performed for many private functions, concerts and Weddings and we love to perform for people and enjoy making music so they have a pleasurable experience.

Cauldron (whose name originated from Kool & the Gang’s first album) began performing with popular groups such as Tierra, Los Lobos, Thee Midniters and Cannibal and the Headhunters. Cauldron would occasionally be the opening act for these groups at various parks, colleges and outdoor concerts. As music began its transition into Disco, Cauldron made the transition with no problem and began concentrating on professional performances. During the years 1975 to 1978 Cauldron performed in various lounges in Las Vegas, Hawaii and in Canada. From 1978 to 2000 Cauldron performed at various hotels in the San Diego and Southern California areas, including Disneyland, Magic Mountain and Knott’s Berry Farm. During the many public appearances that Cauldron made, they were also the house band at Rudy’s Pasta House along with Tierra who had released their #1 hit “Together.” Cauldron also performed at a fundraiser for the Salesian Rock & Roll Dance and Show for five consecutive years.
Today, Cauldron continues to perform all over Southern California. Members include band leader Herman Flores, Marco Duarte, Denise Benavides, Art Duardo, Jeff Kaye, Rudy Lopez Jr., Bobby Calientes, Carlos Luna, and Eloy Gutierrez.

The Cauldron Band can provide it's own sound system for private functions.
