I have been a professional singer for more than 40 years. I have sung rock, folk, gospel and jazz for TV, jingles, corporate theater and more weddings than I could count. I realize now, that many people want a sensitive, mature singer for FUNERALS and memorial services. I offer an expansive repertoire of hymns and songs that touch people's hearts. I perform accapella or with a professional pianist or guitarist.

I will perform in a respectful, sensitive and mature manner. I will liaise with family members to discuss songs and provide lyrics, if needed, for the service. I will work with service coordinators to discuss all details necessary to the service. I will arrange a guitarist or pianist for an additional fee if needed.
I am a professional singer. I have lived and performed in South Africa for the last 32 years. I have international experience with bands, TV, corporate theater and as a session singer. I have worked on 100's of recordings as a backing vocalist for a diverse group of artists ranging from Ray Phiri (guitarist and collaborator on Paul Simon's Graceland), Hugh Masekela and many others. I have recently relocated back to San Antonio where I started my career as Alice in the rock opera Alice in Wonderland in 1973/74. I recognize the need for a specialist funeral/memorial service singer and have performed this 'service' for many years as a worship leader in the Vineyard Church in South Africa. I have the experience and sensitivity to bring dignity and expression to this fragile time.
Nothing is needed as I can perform with or without amplification, depending on the venue size and accoustics. I do not provide a sound system unless requested. An additional fee will be negotiated for this.
I am able to learn songs as per family request although I am familiar with 100's of hymns and popular songs.
