Carolina Lightnin’ performs a vast repertoire of traditional & contemporary Bluegrass music, including original material, & songs from other genres that have been re-imagined in the Bluegrass style. Book us as a Trio up to a quintet. Please note how many instruments you'd like to book (bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle). We also welcome duo gigs, with a focus on Americana/Singer-Songwriter material with guitar and bass. Please note: most of our promo material features Tommy Edwards who has passed away. We are committed to continuing to provide quality bluegrass in his honor and will add newer content as we can.

Carolina Lightnin' is Alice Zincone (Bass), in addition to Carolina Lightnin' she has performed with Tommy Edwards (Bluegrass Experience), Russell Johnson (The GrassCats) and cast of other local bands/performers; Rick Lafleur (banjo) was the banjo player for The Grass Cats from (phone number hidden)7, before that he played with various local bands after moving to NC from Canada; Allen Mullen (guitar), also played with the Grass Cats as well as noteable musicians in the piedmont including Preddyfest co-founder, Clifton Preddy (fiddle), who comes from a long line of pickers.
