Carolina Carriages provides elegant horse and carriage service in Northeast North Carolina, the Outer Banks and Tidewater Virginia. Our white Victorian Vis-a-vis carriage is pulled by a beautiful white Percheron draft horse and driven by an experienced driver in formal attire. Carolina Carriages will make your wedding, anniversary, birthday, princess party an event to remember.

Carolina Carriages, run by Martha Chedister, Manager/Owner, is an elegant Horse and Carriage service located in Oxford for North Central North Carolina in Granville and Vance Counties. We offer services for weddings, festivals and special events. We have beautiful white Draft Horses, a white vis-a-vis carriage, a surry and an oak wagonette. We would love to spice up your event with our services. Martha has been working with horses her whole life and been in business with Carolina Carriages since 2006. She trained at a well-respected carriage company in Virginia and is a professional in every sense of the word. The company is small and loves to cater to your wishes to enhance your event just the way you want it.

Please note: NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN for any reason, only an alternative date of service. In the event of extreme inclement weather such as hurricane, tornado warning, Nor’easter, etc. there will be NO REFUND, only an alternative rain date will be given. In the event of light rain, Carolina Carriages will service event unless cancelled by client and even then NO REFUND will be given, only a rain date. Carolina Carriages will make every effort to service the event to the client’s satisfaction, but cannot control the weather. Please keep this in mind before booking.

If client requests Carolina Carriage to stay longer at the event than the contracted hour without prior notification, then extra fees will apply in the amount of $200 per hour or any part thereof. Payment of extra fees for overtime will be required immediately at the event in cash.
