Reirson first made her mark on the music scene in 2016 with her debut EP, Fantasy. The project received two nominations at the 2017 Calgary Music Awards for Blues Recording and Female Artist. In 2018, her single “Crooner Sing To Me” won the YYCMA Award for Blues Recording of the Year.

May 18, 2025Carlie played at our wedding yesterday - to say she was absolutely incredible would be an understatement! I think all of our guests were getting weepy with her soulful, beautiful voice, and she really tied the ceremony together so wonderfully. I highly recommend hiring her for any event. She was also very clear in the pre-wedding communication, and she even very generously offered to learn five songs for us, which meant I was able to walk down to the aisle to the song I’ve always wanted to since I was a little girl.

Born and raised in Leduc, Alberta, singer-songwriter Carly Reirson captivates audiences with her soaring melodies and honest lyrics. Whether it is love or heartache, Reirson’s “soul-folk” songs take you on a journey through the world of human emotion. Inspired by artists such as Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, and Rose Cousins, her smooth, yet edgy voice brings you face to face with your own feelings as she shares her stories of love, loss and loneliness.
Reirson has spent the last six years immersed in songwriting, penning the tracks for her upcoming album, Diary of a Beating Heart. The sophomore single, “Alone,” is a calming folk song that captures the emotions of a person who is traveling through life alone and has a deep longing for human connection and the desire to find someone to share their journey with. Her first single, "Aurora" is nominated for a 2023 Calgary Music award for "Folk Recording of the Year."
