Caring For Caregivers

Whether it's a parent, spouse, child or friend, all of us will at some point find ourselves in the roll of caregiver. It can be one of the biggest challenges of our lives, especially if we're trying to hold down a job and juggle all the other demands of contemporary life. We can feel tremendous guilt and shame, when trying to handle everything at once, especially without guidance through demanding times. We can stumble in our careers. We can lose our own health and well-being. We can feel terribly alone. We can feel we are failing. But none of this has to overwhelm us and rob us of the rewards of giving care. There is help.
