Thank you, Nate!
Everyone was great and got involved with the drawings, either as a subject or spectating.
I like it when the crowd interacts with the people I draw, then I just do my thing. Playful banter always relaxes everyone and makes it more entertaining. I even had some kids come back for seconds.
All ages, which is nice to have also.

What to expect
I attempt to accommodate the client as much as possible.
When I draw, I like to engage with the participants. Those who I draw and those who are in line, or just watching from the wings. I like to draw with my back to the crowd so it's easier to watch what I do.
I don't mind hecklers. They can actually add to the fun.
Don't put me in a secluded corner. I like to be where the action is. Entertain the group as a whole.
I don't mind if there is some wiggling and squirming. I don't sit still, so I don't expect the participants to do so either. Just don't get up & walk away. That would make things a little more difficult.
I don't try to be mean either. I can sometimes read what people may be nervous, or embarrassed about, and I don't call them out, like birthmarks, scars, etc. I don't include anything temporary, like a cut or scrape, unless it is requested.
I don't add anything. If you have a hat, fine. But I do not fill the drawing with props, gags, or things that aren't there. That type of stuff slows the process down. The same is with full bodies. I draw from just below the shoulders to the top of the head. No full bodies or appendages.
I usually work on 8.5"x11" paper, but I can supply 11"x14" if requested.
Black & white is the norm, but I can also do color. It just takes a bit longer. The color option must be stated before your event otherwise everything is in black & white.
No "phonies" either. I am there to draw the participants that are there. I will not draw from a phone pic unless it is requested by the client.
About
I’ve always liked to draw.
People usually told me I was good at it, friends, family, teachers, colleagues, even strangers. So that’s what I did, whenever I got the chance. I wasn’t really “drawn” to the fine arts. Portraits, clay pots, flowers, no-no-no. For me, it was cartoons, branding, and graphic elements. Now don’t misunderstand me, Bob Ross is my hero, I just didn't have it in me to peruse the finer side of art.
Over the years, my work experiences have included printing shirts, embroidery, cutting vinyl, and eventually starting my own business. Since 1995, UGLI Studios has been my ship to steer with a crew of three: me, myself & I. Two of us have enjoyed every moment, but that third guy.... well, anyway, I usually found myself as the man behind the curtain. Preparing production pieces & files for other business or creating custom work for their clients. Because of this, I feel, has made me a better designer for the industry I work in, and the clients I serve.
Since 1991, I have entertained crowds of every shape & size with live caricature drawings. Fast, friendly, and professional, I’ve never met a face I haven’t liked, while on the job. Specializing in black & white marker drawings for that quick, live entertainment experience. I average 13 faces per hour, depending on how much hair the subject has. Fun to watch, great to get. A caricature is the perfect personalized memento they’re sure to remember! From small parties to large events, every group is the perfect size to have fun. And remember every drawing get a free plastic bag!
