I’ve drawn more than 10, 000 “on-the-spot” caricatures over 20 years. My most famous “on-the-spot” caricature was of Regis Philbin (he showed it on the next show of “Regis & Kathy Lee”). “On-the-spot” caricatures are very popular because it’s done quickly, (3-5 minutes) & results in a humorous keepsake. Sessions are booked in advance & thus provide free caricatures to crowds of 30-300 people depending upon event size & hours commissioned. Because of timing, these caricatures are usually drawn black & white but can include color, full-body theme poses if specified. Also, as a gift, I can draw ‘special occasion’ caricatures from a photograph. See my website for details!

Below are details on my caricature offering:
Caricaturing is a unique ability to capture someone's likeness and personality in a picture. I create 3 types of caricatures:
(1) On-the-spot quick sit-down caricatures,…
(2) Special occasion caricatures commemorating an event or theme, and…
(3) Publication reprint caricatures typically of public figures such as politicians, celebrities or people in the news.
‘On-the-Spot’ Caricatures are paid hourly with a 2-hour minimum. Some events where this caricaturing might apply are: School Graduations, Business Functions, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Birthday Celebrations, Holiday Festivities, Classroom Discussions, Civic Events, Lectures, Company Picnics and truly any Entertainment Event. As indicated, this type of caricaturing is very popular because it’s done quickly, (3-5 minutes) and results in a humorous, keepsake suitable for framing. Sessions are paid in advance and thus provide free caricatures to crowds of 30-300 people depending upon event size and hours commissioned. Because of timing, these caricatures are usually drawn as black & white but can include color, full-body theme poses if desired and specified.
Special Occasion Caricatures are usually full color caricatures incorporating themes and drawn from photographs. These caricatures are done over a minimum of a one to two week time period. They can be as simple as a colored caricature portrait or as complex as incorporating hobbies, special lifetime events or workplace accomplishments. This type of caricaturing is drawn from photographs and usually includes an interim email proof of caricature likeness and composition. Special occasion caricatures make great gifts and prices vary depending upon complexity of images .
Publication Reprint Caricatures (newspapers, magazines, newsletters, advertisements, political cartoons & promotional material). Most of these caricatures are of notable people in the news or featured in an article. They can be very exaggerated and humorous. Caricatures for publication reprint are traditionally drawn in black & white and are usually commissioned by businesses such as newspapers, magazines, advertising firms or corporate art departments.
