John was such a master talent! We secured his services to provide caricatures for guests during my daughter's wedding reception. It was a HIT!!! Everyone commented to me how much they loved the experience and how much they enjoyed their time with John. He was extremely pleasant and made everyone feel instantly at ease. Plus, his talent is truly a gift! John was very easy and flexible to work with prior to the reception and I truly give him my highest recommendation! Go with John for your next party or event -- you won't regret it!!

John was great to work with and all our guests enjoyed his work. John designed a custom caricature template for us (airplane theme for our reception at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum). We would highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to add something fun and interactive

We had John at our wedding and he was awesome!! All of our guest loved him and his drawings were the best! He had a line all night and was still willing to stay a few min after to finish my brother and his family's drawing!! I definitely recommend him for any event!

I hired John to help me with a surprise marriage proposal.
He went above and beyond to make the day turn out perfect. He is personable, energetic and passionate.
He volunteered his services on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years Eve to make our day even more special. We ended up going with a New Years Eve surprise proposal.
He even took the time out of his day to scope out a perfect spot downtown in the Gardens.

About
John Calvin Whitfield was born August 4, 1967 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He has been an artist for as long as he can remember. His creative outlook started early in life. John was stricken with Cerebral Palsy at birth. As a child he was also plagued with horrible cold induced allergies. Many times John found himself inside alone. For most children this reality would be “a hard pill to swallow”. But, John Whitfield picked up an art pencil and found his calling.
In his formative years John continued to use art as an outlet. He would work heartbreaks, and hard luck struggles out of his system through the countless hours spent at the drawing board. His art had become a therapy
After receiving a Bachelor or Art degree from the University of Oklahoma. John unleashed his unique creative perspective. Today, John Calvin Whitfield defines himself as an artist. He makes a comfortable living producing his work for a number of clients. He simply thinks: No one can tell you who you are. That is your decision. I choose laughter over pain.
