Overview
My name is Alex and I have been a caricature artist for nearly 15 years. During that time, I've drawn at thousands of events, brought laughter to the young and old, mastered drawing unruly kids and nervous dogs, and made a few people cry (unfortunately). I am easy going, always on time, and I can accommodate most requests. However, I cannot promise that I will go easy on you, but I can promise that it will be fun.

Booking information
Price range: $110-$150/hr
What to expect
The service that I offer can fit into just about any event as long as there is enough light to allow me to see what I am drawing (I do bring lights if that is an issue). I can squeeze my whole set-up into a space of about 6'x6' and it consists of a portable easel with a small sign and a few chairs for me and the guests. I do provide all of this equipment. Generally, my back is facing the audience so they can watch me draw because that adds to the fun. It usually takes 3 to 5 minutes per person and the finished drawings are ink on paper and come in a clear plastic bag. The ink will not smear and the size of the paper is 11''x17''. I can fit up to 10 people on a single sheet but I only have 2 chairs so guests will have to sit two at a time or they can stand behind the chairs if they don't mind. I can draw from photos but I don't prefer to do that because it prevents someone who is at the party from getting a drawing. I have done sign up sheets if waiting in line is not appropriate for your event. The paper that I provide can be customized with a preprinted design or logo for an additional charge. For weddings or similar events, I will wear more formal attire but I generally wear khaki pants and a dark button down shirt or polo. Usually dress code is not an issue but I am willing to meet your requirements if it is. I usually arrive about 20 or 30 minutes early to set up and I start promptly on time and am willing to stay later at your request. For outdoor events, I can provide a tent for an additional charge. Please ask if you have any other questions about my services.
About
I grew up in the Metro Detroit area and graduated from Wayne State University in 2016. Now I am working as a full time caricature/freelance artist because it is what I love to do and it beats getting a 9-5er.
