Overview

Get hand drawn caricatures live for your event! Each face is done in minutes! B/W or color, traditional or digital, the choice is yours, all starting at $130 per hour!

For traditional caricatures, I use permanent marker on acid free, heavyweight cardstock paper with plastic sleeves included for long lasting gifts your guests will never forget! If you choose color, I use soft wax/oil color sticks that don't smudge or rub off.

Digital Caricatures are now Live! These are still hand drawn, but done on an iPad and delivered as pdfs to your phone or email!

What to expect

I will show up with plenty of time to set up. All I need is a couple of chairs and shelter from the elements. A small table is also helpful. If we're doing Digital Caricatures, access to an outlet is also helpful, but I also bring my own power source, so it's still optional.

As soon as I'm set up, I get right to work. Most events are traditional Black and White headshots, which I can do at a rate of about 20-25 people per hour. Upgrades such as color, themed bodies, handwritten names, or Digital Caricatures are a little extra, both in time and the hourly rate.

For Traditional, Marker-On-Paper caricatures, use high quality permanent markers and acid free, heavyweight paper, and provide plastic sheet covers so your guests will be able to enjoy their gifts from you for years. They are standard letter sized, but larger 11" x 14" is available as an Upgrade.

Digital Caricatures are available also as an Upgrade, and will be given to you and your guests as a pdf file directly to your phone or email. Physical Printouts, Cloud Storage Archives, Physical Archives, and even a Wide Screen Display are all available as Addons and Upgrades!

And last but not least, you will get professional and friendly service with a smile, as well as a lot of laughs! I have no problem with crowds leaning in to watch the magic happen, in fact, it's part of the show. They'll love it, and so will you!

About

I started doing caricatures for money in my teens on Venice Beach, just to make some extra cash on the weekends. After Art School, I worked at a major CA theme park, where I was promoted to Lead within 6 months, and became a Trainer. After 5 wonderful years, I left to work in the animation industry, but I never lost my love of doing live events, especially in the off seasons between productions.

Additional booking notes

The base rate of $140/hr is standard for events within a 25-mile radius of my home base. This rate will change depending on the location and type of the event.

These will be classic Black and White Headshot Caricatures on 8.5" x 11" cardstock. This thick paper is durable and easily frameable! Plastic sheet covers are included.

Larger 11" x 14" heavyweight cardstock is available upon request as an Upgrade, for only $10/hour more. Plastic sheet covers are also included.

Other Upgrades and Add-Ons include:
Upgrades:
~Color Headshots or BW Head and Themed Bodies: +$10/hr, 2 hour minimum.
~Double X (Xtra Xaggerated): +$20/hr.
~Mailing Tubes (instead of plastic sleeves): +$30/hr.
~4" x 4" Cardboard Coasters w/ Plastic Laminate Stickers (instead of the regular paper): +$20/hr.
~Custom Printed Paper (with your logo): +$25/hr, with bookings at least 2 weeks in advance.
~Digital Caricatures (BW Headshots, PDFs only): +$20/hr, 2 hour minimum. (Color Digital Caricatures: +$40/hr).
Includes a link to a Cloud Archive, with full access for 60 days!
~Deluxe Digital Caricatures Bundle: $280/hour, 2 hour minimum. Includes everything from the base Digital Caricature Upgrade, plus:
-8.5" x 11" Photo Color Printouts and Copies with plastic sheet covers
included.
-Large LCD Screen Display Setup so spectators can enjoy from afar!

Add-Ons:
~Hand lettered names: +$10/hr.
~LCD Widescreen Display, (Available for Digital Caricatures Only): +$50/hr, 2 hour minimum.
-This is so that guests can watch the action from far away! Great for
Conventions and Expos!
~On Site Printing and Copying: Printing for physical copies of Digital and Traditional Caricatures!): +$50/hr, 2 hour minimum.
-Digital Caricature Prints and Trad. Caricature Copies will be printed on
8.5"x11" photo paper, with plastic sheet protector included!
~Extended access to Cloud Storage (For Digital pdfs): $60/year ($5/month).
-The Digital Caricature Upgrade includes 1 year of Cloud Storage and
Access. Choose this option if you want me to hold on to your files
longer!
~Flash Drive Archive (for Digital Only): $30 plus Shipping.

Travel Fees: Events that take place beyond 25 miles of my home base will incur price bumps for the travel, and may also incur mandatory minimum time bookings for longer distances. For my safety, events that take place more than 50 miles or 2 hours away and that end after 9pm will also require a Boarding Fee. Message me for more details.
