Overview

I’m a Philadelphia-based caricaturist with a hip-hop background, creating clean, stylized, complimentary portraits that celebrate personality. I use high-quality materials for clients who expect exceptional artwork. My experience includes serving as Lead Production Artist for Wanderlust Interactive in New York and providing artwork for the federal government’s Operation Cease Fire and SEPTA’s anti-drug/anti-violence campaigns. I created Bahamadia’s Kollage CD-face artwork and The Cross Movement’s Holy Culture backdrop. A longtime Philadelphia child advocate, I use art to nurture critical thinking and positive decision-making in youth.

Expect professionalism, plenty of smiles, and a memorable experience for your guests! As highlighted in my bio, my caricatures blend a distinctive artistic style with a flattering touch, celebrating each guest’s personality. Every black-and-white drawing features a splash of color and comes in a protective cellophane sleeve with a card—a personalized keepsake to enjoy long after your event.

About

I’m a Philadelphia-based caricaturist with a Hip-Hop background and a creative career spanning interactive media, music, public-service campaigns, and youth advocacy.

I’m a husband and father. I’ve been drawing all my life. I love the older cartoons (Warner Bros., Disney, Fleisher Studios, etc), Kung-Fu movies and Anime/Donghua. I am a jovial person. I love to make people smile and laugh, thus my choice to draw caricatures. My caricature style is clean, stylized, and complimentary—capturing each person’s distinctive features and personality in a flattering way. I use high-quality materials to deliver polished artwork for clients who value quality.
My professional experience includes serving as Lead Production Artist for Wanderlust Interactive in New York and providing artwork for the federal government’s Operation Cease Fire and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority’s (SEPTA) anti-drug and anti-violence campaigns. My work in music includes creating the CD-face artwork for recording artist Bahamadia’s Kollage album and the backdrop for The Cross Movement’s Holy Culture.
As a longtime child advocate in Philadelphia, PA, I have used my art to help young people develop critical-thinking skills and make positive decisions. That commitment reflects my belief that art can do more than entertain—it can encourage reflection, build connections, and inspire growth.
Whether I’m creating a personalized caricature or artwork for a larger project, I bring a hip-hop-informed creative perspective, professional care, and a commitment to making people feel seen and celebrated.

Additional booking notes

I will need 2 (two) chairs, one for myself and one for the subject being drawn. Since I’m drawing people’s likenesses, I require a well lit area (so I can see them clearly). Also, if the event is outside, I ask to be put under a tent (if raining or windy). Thank you in advance!

Influences and inspiration

My passion for caricature is rooted in the work of Al Hirschfeld, whose artistry remains my greatest influence as a Caricaturist. My creative style also draws inspiration from H. R. Giger, comic book illustrator Arthur Adams, and two personal friends who have profoundly influenced my work: Dawud Anyabwile and urban artist Leonard Green. Each has helped shape my artistic voice, inspiring me to bring my own distinctive flair to every drawing.

Setup requirements

Two chairs, well lit area, (if outdoor) a dry area
