Overview
Captain Paisley performs the 60's classics that will have your guests all dancing and singing along. Captain Paisley takes you back to the heady days of the late 1960’s, when every week brought amazing new songs to the radio including the “psychedelic” and folk-rock sounds of the Fillmore Auditorium and Woodstock.
We perform the iconic songs of the time by groups including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Buffalo Springfield, Cream, CSN&Y, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Moody Blues with the passion, spirit and energy of the 60's.

Captain Paisley played my combo 60th birthday and 47th anniversary of my bar mitzvah last night. The relevance is that my bar mitzvah soundtrack was the pyschedellic music that Capital Paisley plays so well. They were great and were wonderful guys. My whole crew loved it. Thanks!!

Had a blast having Captain Paisley at our winery event last weekend! If you are looking for a fun, groovin' band to get your guest dancing, or just to have a good vibe to drink and dine to, hire these guys! Very prompt and professional with all interactions, from set up, to site visit, to the great music. Would highly recommend!

About
Captain Paisley was formed by Doug Meador (lead vocals, keyboards and guitar) in 2012 to perform the music he loves from the late 1960's, and the band has been burning up the local music scene ever since.
Doug hit the L.A. live music and recording scene in the mid-70's, performing and/or recording with members of Steppenwolf, The Edgar Winter Group, The Eric Burdon Band, Ian Hunter Band, Sparks and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others. He was a member of the Mike Ronstadt band, led by Linda's younger brother, and a member of Geisha, replacing Tony Kaye, founding member of Yes. Doug has appeared on a major movie soundtrack, national TV and more recently, performing his original songs on the Bay Area's KRON-4 TV. Now he brings this background to making Captain Paisley a truly authentic classic rock experience.
