Capitol Carolers

The carolers typically sing in groups of four, three or two, and can provide a wide range of traditional Christmas Carols such as Silent Night and Good King Wenceslas, holiday music and some Chanukah songs. We can and have provided larger groups when needed.
We will come to your event in Victorian Costume and we sing in concert style, or as background ambiance, or indeed roaming around a venue singing to different groups as needed. We are always willing to try and meet any special requirements you may have for your event. If you are staging a larger event and have a sound system we are happy to use it otherwise we will sing a cappella and without amplification. Likewise we will sing in modern clothing if that is your preference.
We take a 10 minute break at the end of each hour of singing but we can use the break to move to a new part of your venue if that is what you want us to do.
We charge a standard rate for most events but for events with a long travel time or on Christmas Eve we charge an additional fee
The second and subsequent hours of an event are charged at a lower rate than our base one hour cost and after the first hour you can add time by the minute and the cost for that hour is charged in proportion to the time used.
We do perform both indoors and outside, however, at our discretion, we will not sing outside in rain or extremely cold weather unless under shelter or in the case of cold weather unless we are provided with heating.

Bernie Kellett, tenor, has performed solo roles in both Europe and the United States in a wide variety of light operas and musicals. Currently, he performs with the Capitol Carolers, and as a solo performer.

The Capitol Carolers have 20 professional and semi-professional singers who come together from that last week in November through Dec 24 to sing Carols, Holiday music and Chanukah songs.

Our a cappella pieces can be performed with or without amplification depending on venue.
