Overview
Canyon Wind Music now features The Parker King Blues Duo
Our set list includes Classic Blues standards, Chicago Blues, Swing Blues, and Country Blues styles Influenced by artist like Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers, T-bone Walker, Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, and Sonny Boy Williamson to name a few. And the songs are all done in our own unique way.
You’ll not only hear great guitar, harmonica and vocals but there are also other instruments (keys, drums and bass guitar) which help to give the duo a full band sound. We also play stripped down renditions of songs where you'll only hear guitar, harmonica, vocals and porch-board bass for that kick drum sound.

About
Hello my name is Keith and I'm a solo guitarist with vocals. I perform a mix of country tunes from several decades, both classic and contemporary hits. In addition I play: a mix of rock n roll standards, blues, and many classic pop songs from the 60's and 70's to surly satisfy any baby boomer audience! Basically it's and eclectic mix of tunes that can be tailored to your desired outcome.
I can provide background music if needed for ambience.
I can play with backing tracks for a fuller sound.
Or just with guitar and vocals for a more subtle and intimate musical approach.
I do not perform dance music however people will sometimes dance to the music I'm playing.
Musicians can be added to any performance depending on your needs and budget. I can perform with other musicians who play the follow instrumentation: Acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, banjo, harmonica, keyboards and bass. You would just need to specify that in your needs.
I can perform as a duo, trio or a group of 4.
Sometime the is a need for me to play all original music so that is also an option.
I also play music with an eclectic network of musicians that can blend different genres e.g. Americana, Country, Acoustic Folk Rock, Southern Rock, Bluegrass, some Irish Folk Standards. Blues, Country, and more by using harmonica, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass, both electric and acoustic guitars for an eclectic mix of music.
Additional booking notes
We provide our own sound system and stage lights but can also work with any company providing professional sound.
