Singer/songwriter with 15 years experience singing, playing, laughing, and connecting with people onstage. I’m at home with my voice and at home in front of people, and I weave a mix of melodic, foot-stomping covers in with tasteful originals that are a great fit for house parties, bars, clubs, restaurants, and weddings. If you’re looking for warmth, confidence, experience, and some truly standout acoustic music, let’s talk.

Cameron provided background music for our University Program's 30th Anniversary and did a fantastic job! He curated a set that created a perfect tone for the event. He was a thoughtful ahead of the party, set up early, and was a consummate professional throughout the evening. I am so grateful to have had this gifted musician provide the backdrop for a social gathering since it's not just every year you get to celebrate such a milestone. Thank you Cameron for your stellar work!
I have been a fan of Cameron's since the beginning. My office was planning an event for all of our to clients and I suggested Cameron for the entertainment. I played samples of his work for my coworkers and they were sold.
We had a wide range of ages, net worth and sensibilities present. Cameron was fun, friendly, upbeat and festive. Or clients were unanimous in praise for the performance.
As a professional, I appreciated his communications in advance of the event. He came early, set up without hassle and was pleasant and professional to work with, including interactions with clients afterwards. I would gladly use him again and recommend him to others.
Our company hired Cameron to play music at our launch party last fall. His professionalism, warmth, humor, and talent *wowed* our clients and made me the hero of the marketing department. Throughout the process, he was incredible to work with. A few weeks before the event he interviewed me about our needs and when I wasn't quite sure what the playlist should be, he suggested a set that perfectly captured the mood I wanted to set: hip but accessible. He helped me think through the details I might have forgotten (will our sprinklers go off??!) and even went to the trouble of making a playlist we could use before and after his set. He was able to get people dancing at points, but also made it possible for good networking and talking to happen. The addition of live music really made the event something special, but the addition of Cameron made it unforgettable. Unequivocally recommend!

"Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive and go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
As a singer and songwriter with 15 years of experience, music is what makes me come alive! My favorite thing in the world is to use music to help people feel connected to life, to themselves, and to each other. That can be done through a particularly meaningful song or story, and also, more generally, by singing melodies at any event where people gather to be together. A good melody, a great turn of phrase, the right cover songs, and a little foot stomping seem to go a long way towards connecting people and creating meaningful memories.
I'm one half of the American indie-folk duo Ryanhood, and while we've toured extensively both nationally and internationally, we're proud to call Tucson home. I've performed in theaters, stadiums, churches, colleges, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, and houses across 46 of the 50 United States. And, when I'm not on the road with Ryanhood, I enjoy playing solo shows for all types of occasions.
- backyard parties
- employee appreciation dinners
- fundraising events
- holiday parties
I am not the cheapest singing guitar player you will find. (I charge $150 per hour of music played, an additional $50 for any specific song request, and since weddings require more preparation and more setup time, I charge a flat $600 fee to play a ceremony/reception combo). But if you're looking for someone with a ton of experience singing and playing, someone who can set folks at ease while providing cheerful, meaningful, and fun acoustic music, shoot me a message and let's see if we're a good fit for each other. Good luck as you plan your event!
