I work with event planners, meeting staff and families all across the world from large conferences to small family celebrations in San Diego county and beyond. I love the unique energy of every event and grateful to work with you. I am very easy and flexible to work with, anticipate changes, and roll with timeline changes and uncertainty. Being flexible is a must in event work. I am prepared before I'm onsite with the event details, timeline, and your photo needs before I arrive. Once onsite, I get right to work capturing venue, decor, details and action as it unfolds. I'm lighthearted, work unnoticed and unobtrusive, and I like to create a very balanced and generous photo gallery. I am focused on capturing people's best angles for their upper arms, pleasant facial expressions, speaking face, and skin texture with lighting conditions. Photography and people are my passion and it will show in my care for the details in your photos.

I've been a professional photographer for over 16 years. I've had a camera in my hand since I was 5, taking film photos as a kid, developing my B&W film & making prints in the darkroom in high school and college photography classes. My strong foundation in film photography has disciplined me to make each photo count and be impactful. Being a pro photographer allows me to tell the untold story of the event, to notice the unspoken details, and to document important and often historic moments. I love to document life and the activities that we take part in to be able to look back through old photos and relive how those times felt. I capture the time in between the minutes ticking on the clock - the "kairos time". I notice the way guests feel inspired by the keynote speaker from afar and how their eyes light up, how carefully attendees inspect products at a tradeshow, how humbled the employee feels onstage for the award, how guests thoughtfully select food on tray passed hors d'oeuvres. I see through the lens what we aren't consciously aware of. Those are the emotions I want to convey in my visual art.
