It merely took forced isolation to bring this project together. After years of hearsay and hundreds of happy hours, the Cabin Boys finally had time to continue what they had started. A proverbial tour de force, Cabin Boys are made up of an East Nashville conglomerate of premier songwriters. Founded in late 2018 by Colin Elmore, Carl Anderson, and Tim Bruns, the fledgling group knew there was a spark. The following year they added the likes of ace songwriter Reuben Bidez and utility craftsman Jesse Thompson (Charlie Treat, Reed Waddle) to bring that needed beard wax to hold the whole thing together.
The songs range from classic rockabilly to pop country perfection. Not trying to reinvent the wheel, just trying to roll it forward.
It’s only a matter of time until the Cabin Boys get ahold of your heartstrings. It’s about friendship. Friends having fun. Not overthinking, just friends enjoying each other and the love of songwriting.
