BULLDOG BEST

Hello. My name’s Jay and I’m excited to bring you my signature statement pronouncing my fanaticism for the Georgia Bulldog Football program- a paint and sip event venture called BULLDOG BEST.

This is a sports-themed paint & sip experience where fans, teams, families, and groups can come together to create sports artwork while enjoying a fun social event.

BULLDOG BEST is a great fit for a host location. I provide the full experience — instructor, supplies, and event concept — while your venue provides the space and benefits from increased traffic, food/drink sales, and community engagement.

The painting content is based on Georgia Football iconography, graphics, mascot, the University Of GA colors red and black, and includes statements, captions, phrases about the team unity, competition, physical toughness and victories used by Coach Smart, some adopted by the program, and some lingo spoken by the fans alike. Three of the sample paintings that you can choose from have ‘COMMIT TO THE G’, ‘SKULL SESSIONS’, and ‘DAWG POUND’.

The Bulldog Personas- Bulldog figures and character samples- will have ready-made templates drawn upon the canvas issued to each participant.

The Golf Landscapes and scenes are ‘freeform’ designs, where painters create the lines and shapes of the scene with a blank canvas- sky, horizon line, golf greens hills and trees- are all guided by teacher.
(I can also provide templates for these landscape scenes as well)

We will begin with the larger color fills and then place our details as sequentially as areas around the painting dries- during which time everyone enjoys their favorite beverage, snack and convo!

The event is completed- including closing comments and more convo, group photo held and farewells. The teacher then breaks down event area, packing supplies and articles and then general clean up.

Then you take the painting home as a treasured keepsake for yourself or as a gift to your fellow
Dawg fan.

These painting events are great for any occasion: company team building, pre or post game socials, birthdays, graduations, fund raisers, welcome home, honoring military service, or having a Bulldog Fan Rally to celebrate Victories and Championships! Or just to celebrate THE BULLDOG NATION!

How it works:
Choose one painting sample above with the assigned number you wish to create with your event party goers. Go to Email address (email hidden) to let Jay know the number of participants (there is a cap of 18 at this time at $34 per person or we can talk). (phone number hidden) leave message.

Then give the location of event venue (multipurpose room, cafeteria, conference room, ball room and meeting rooms, coffee shops and restaurants, etc.) that you, the Event Host will have in place for the party. Please have enough tables, chairs and space needed for the party. Plus a working sink will be needed please. Event location must be within 25 miles of Lawrenceville area - 30046 (or beyond? I could become a Road Warrior!).

Payments via SQUARE. The total is provided in your email from BULLDOG BEST for the event total listed, which is the total number of participants. Once confirmations made- Event host will give an agreed upon time/date of the event- then use SQUARE in person on location.

Painting event teacher will arrive 1 to 1½ hour in advance for event time for setup and preparation. Setup includes location of space in the venue, table covers and drop towel placement, easel, 11x14 canvases, brushes, water cups and paint palette placements. All Paint Supplies and Materials Are Provided. The space will be arranged for the best presentation and work flow for the event.

All events are 2 hours in length. I strive to do everything I can within the time to have everyone walk away with a completed painting. But also, I would like to see everyone relax, socialize and enjoy themselves. On time arrivals help to solidify this desired result. Thanks lots! Best, Jay

Hello and GO DAWGS! My name is Jay Langford. I’ve been an avid Georgia Bulldog fan ever since I could walk. I also have a lifetime penmanship in Drawing and Painting. This BULLDOG BEST platform is my tribute to THE GEORGIA BULLDOGS as both a Fan and an Artist.

Furthermore, I have 5 years teaching experience as a Social Studies Teacher, Art Teacher and General Classroom Substitute Teacher. My additional motive is to share my education with others. All the roads in my life have converged here. Georgia Bulldog Football, Instructor Experience, and Art all meet in concert for your Paint Party Event!

I’ve always had an interest in Geometric Designs in both True Form (Circles, Triangles, Squares) and natural shapes- (leaves, mountains hills, water drops, bodies of water, clouds, trees- with relationships to Symmetry and Asymmetry). With these geometric elements I like the connections to design principles: Balance and Informal Balance. So Lines, Shapes and design concepts are all factored as the structure for creating intentional, interesting works of art! I also have an interest in Typography and Letter Design- all of which ties into the BULLDOG BEST theme park!

We will need enough tables, chairs offering enough spacing between participants which allows room for easels, palettes, brushes, drinks and snacks-but not such a distance where painters can't converse and share the fun! Space will also be needed so everyone can move about the room.
Interior ambient lighting is needed enough to see well enough to mix paints and create the paintings. The room must allow for tables to be situated close enough to the teacher to hear and view the guidance for painting and to hear the moderate music provided.
