My name is Heide Beasley. I've been a teacher for 23 years. In addition to teaching and motivating children, I also assist adults with obtaining their GED. Building Confidence Moment-by-Moment is an empowering movement I've designed to encourage adults and children to overcome difficulties by changing their thinking about their self-worth while building internal confidence. I'm also a published author who works diligently to write and promote my books. Overcoming many difficulties in being a single mother, marriage, and holding on to my goals despite obstacles encourages me to share my story and encourage others to keep their goals no matter what. You will be encouraged by hearing my story!

An audience can expect to be motivated to move forward with their goals, put the past in its proper place, and use and believe the Word of God for personal validation. When this happens, the audience will be able to accept the moment-by-moment and believe that all things do work together for their good and God's glory.
Heide Beasley was raised in a small town in Paris, Kentucky. She graduated from Bourbon County High School in 1981. She went on to graduate from Rutgers, The State University, in New Jersey earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English; and in 2008, she graduated from North Carolina Central University, earning a Master of Education degree. She holds an Advanced Professional Certification in the state of Texas for grades 1-6 and is ESL Certified. Her first book was published in 2017 (The Mysteries of Johnny P. Youngblood: The Moon and the Golden Bone) and the second was published in 2019 (The Mysteries of Johnny P. Youngblood: Egypt and the Golden Bone). The third book (The Mysteries of Johnny P. Youngblood: The Book of Secrets) will be available the summer of 2023. She has been writing her entire life. She is a dedicated teacher of both children and adults. Building Confidence Moment-by-Moment originated when she decided to share her journey of learning to completely love herself. All of which has been developed through the Word of God. Learning to apply the Word to every situation (moment) has been a journey that she is still on.
The most important aspect of speaking to an audience is being able to be heard; therefore, a good sound system with a microphone would be beneficial for a successful event.
During my elementary school years, I did just enough to get by even though I always wanted to be a teacher. I participated in various clubs: band, German Club, and weaving. It wasn't until we moved to Paris, Kentucky that education began to mean something to me. During my eighth-grade year, my grades were terrible until my teacher, Mrs. Williams took me into the hallway and told me that I can do better, and I better get it together. She left me in the hallway with tears in my eyes. At that point, my education meant more to me than anything else. Growing up, I knew that I was loved, but never felt that I was. Feeling as though I was missing out, I sought out love through the wrong avenues. Getting pregnant during my senior year of high school created feelings of lose. I couldn't run track (I was 5th in the state in two events the prior year) nor could I go away to college; even though my mother said that she would care for my son. I wanted him to know who I was. I did everything with him that my mother and I didn't do. Still looking for validation of love, I was in long-term relationships with no vision or future possibilities of marrying and having a family of my own. So, I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ and begin to learn the word, but instead of feeling whole and complete, the old feelings of not being loved and validated still lingered on. So when my now incarcerated ex-husband asked me to marry him, I thought that this was the best I was ever going to get close to a marriage. After 13 years of commitment without commitment, I finally saw that my happiness and well-being meant more to God than what I was getting. He made a way of escape. Yes, this was a marriage that He gave me His permissive well, not His perfect will for my life. Today He continues to show me just how much He loves me. My thinking is different, and today, I'm patiently waiting for that God sent man to come into my life. And should the Lord have other plans, I'm going to live my best life according to the Word of God. It took many years for me to get to this point, but I'm here and happy. I remember when I was in high school and a friend approached me on the street and said to me, "Heide, you are the marrying kind, not the dating kind." He said that and continued walking. Oh, if I could only have understood what he was saying.
