Price Range: $200+
Gig Length: 120 - 240 minutes
What to Expect
I do my level best to get a feel for the audience's collective taste and select songs for my set that will appeal to the broadest cross section. I will also play their requests when possible. Every opportunity to play is an opportunity to connect with new music lovers, and I work hard to make sure your guests enjoy themselves.
I will show up early and I will bring all the equipment I need. For private events, I will forward a repertoire list to the event host or planner in advance and ask if there are any specific songs they would like me to include in my set. With enough advance notice of booking, I will also ask if there is something the host or planner would like to me to play that is not already in the repertoire.
I'm a simple southern guy living in Ohio, a family man, and I love to write songs and play music for anyone who'll listen.
Additional Booking Notes
My technical requirements are few. I need a 110v outlet and a barstool. I'll take care of the rest.
I keep a repertoire sheet of 200+ songs that is available for review on request.
Influences & Inspiration
I grew up listening to everything from Jim Croce, John Denver, & James Taylor to the more contemporary artists of my adolescence such as Pearl Jam, Matchbox Twenty, and Stone Temple Pilots. As a result, I learned to play it all. I cover everyone from Johnny Cash to Michael Jackson. I can also fill out an entire set with original music, which is sort of Southern-Soul-Americana-Folk-Country-Blues... ish.
