BUCK SHOT is a musical troubadour experience located in Manitowoc WI Who relies on "fantastic vocals, excellent music selection and crowd interaction" playing older country (Waylon, Willie and the boys), classic Rock, Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon and Grafunkel (to name a few ) and original music (from Buck's 4 albums).. Buck has been performing since 1975, and shared the stage with many national artists!!! Always repeat performances... this is due in part to his following in selected areas, and his ability to always keep things fresh.... AND Bartenders Busy and Owners Happy!!!

Buckshot played a nice variety of music that kept us singing along.
He also had some short stories that made us smile.

March 30, 2022Steve is a genuinely amazing human being who shared his musical talents with us for a cancer benefit for a family friend after our originally booked entertainment had to cancel. He created the perfect atmosphere for our event that had attendees across a range of ages and helped make our benefit a huge success. We can not thank him enough for his kindness and generosity. We are so grateful that our paths crossed and will not hesitate to contact him again for any future events. It is a rarity these days to find such a kind and gentle soul like Steve who cares so deeply. I don't feel like I booked an artist -- I feel like I made a friend. God bless you, Steve!

Set up is simple for a poet and a one man band... I am pretty much all self contained, however, I like to arrive about 2 hours early, to ensure that I am set up, and ready to go on time.. this allows for things that are not planned.
Equipment Used by Buck Shot.. Bose S1 Pro for most locations, for large venues, a Bose L1 System is used…, Mackie Pro FX8, FX4. mixer. Beat Buddy percussion, TC Helicon Harmonizer, Route 66 Compressor, DR Strings, d'addario Strings, American Made Gibson, Ovation Custom 6 String guitars, and Ovation Baladeere 12 string, Shure SM58 Microphone with Atlas Mic Stand, and of course, the wooden stool – lol
