In addition to the usual western beat, there were also traditional beat in this event that he was not familiar with at first (other than listening to sample youtube videos). Hence a bit skeptical for this being the first time playing together without any rehearsal, but he was able to quickly adapt and pulled it through, making the event very successful. His drum playing sounded great. Some people from the audience came up at the end to say "awesome" to him.
