I do not sit in front of an iPad and stare at lyrics on a screen while performing. Your event deserves better than that. I do not use backing tracks or loopers either. I'll bring a second musician, but I'll never use pre-recorded music.

December 3, 2025We hired Brock for a Christmas resident event at our luxury apartment community. He was absolutely wonderful, an even brought along another musician for percussion. We were so pleased and our residents were too! We had multiple requests for booking information throughout the event. Would definitely hire again! :)

October 17, 2025We had an outdoor house party with Brock's band (Cold Fire) after seeing them a few times at a nearby bar. They were great. Then we had Brock play solo at a smaller indoor party a few months later. That worked out really well. Great song selection for our crowd (we're in our 40's through 60s), and Brock allowed a couple of our guests to join him on songs, which was really fun. Highly recommended.

Brock Sexton plays Classic Rock, Soul and Blues along with some Classic Country. The music is primarily from the 60's to the 80's. I perform Solo or Duo (with a second musician on percussion, bass, or guitar). No originals, no obscure music. I do a fair amount of many styles including rock, pop, country, soul, and blues.

Brock Sexton played the bars and boardwalks of New Jersey in the 90's as "Brock Sexton and the Sex-Tones", then later solo in Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Birmingham.

Typically $200 and up. The following may incur additional charges: Distance, Duration, Day of the week, Time of Day, Dress Code and Size of Audience/Venue (and thus equipment required).
And please note, your 3 hour event is a 6+ hour day for the musicians. Load equipment from house to car, travel, load from car to venue, set up/sound check, perform, break down, load car, travel, unload car back home. When you think about the hourly rate you're paying, please consider the work and time behind the scenes.
