When booking me you can be guaranteed stories, humor, sound teaching, and maybe a new way of seeing yourself and faith. My conversations range from 15 minutes on a given topic or planning retreats and conferences around a theme. No matter what your event is, you’ll be getting someone passionate about pursuing the purposes and promises of God and inviting others into that as well.

Growing up in the church left little to the imagination. I was told what to believe but not always why; and at a young age I ventured out to discover more on my own. I’ve been in many churches and have led many ministry teams such as youth, prayer, hospitality, and teaching Bible studies. My heart is for the church to break free from religious ties so that we can create space not only for the hospitality of Christ in our own lives, but in the lives of our neighbors and communities. My husband and I founded and ran a nonprofit in Detroit for the last 3.5 years before we relocated to New York City with our puppy Fenway. We saw so many people’s lives changed by allowing space and time to hear their stories. I am currently finishing my first book and cannot wait for it to be out! I love connecting with people over coffee or great food and believe that in two simple truths. Stories matter. People matter.

I’m a simple gal who only requests a mic, a podium or table for my notes, and I wouldn’t say no to a bottle of water.
